You can submit your request during our core opening hours and hopefully avoid the morning telephone queue. 

 

Please note online consults should not be used for urgent queries or a medical emergency. For an urgent medical request, please call the practice and speak with our receptionists on 0161 926 9662 or alternatively speak with our reception team at the reception desk in the practice. 

PRACTICE AFTERNOON CLOSURE DATES

Please note that on the following dates Riddings Family Health Centre will be closed for protected staff learning from 1.30 - 6.30 and will re-open the following morning at 8am.

During this time, you will still have access to all of the online services and you will also be able to submit online requests for appointments, prescriptions,, sick notes and other administration requests and will still be able to collect prescriptions already ordered from the Pharmacy.

If you have a medical emergency that can not wait until we re-open at 8am the following day, then please contact the surgery where your call will be diverted to master-call who will deal with your request.  For life threatening emergencies, please consider dialling 999.

Important: If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over.

Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

MOUNJARO/TIRZEPATIDE JABS 

We are getting a lot of enquiries regarding these medications. Please be aware currently GPs cannot prescribe or refer patients on for this treatment.
